Bespoke Audio Recording and HD Video Production

At our specialist studio in Sheffield, we house a Bösendorfer Imperial 290 concert grand piano. This pedigree instrument has been fitted with the Phoenix bridge agraffe system, designed by leading British piano engineer, Richard Dain.

We use carefully selected Neve and Sontronics mics, used in conjunction with Neve and Focusrite mic preamps, all chosen for their natural, clear capture.

Audio is transferred into the digital domain via our Universal Audio Apollo 2 interface, enabling a sound quality many times greater than that of a standard CD.

We offer a constructive and friendly environment in which engineer /producer/composer/pianist James Bacon will work with you towards your creative vision. Each recording session is tailored to what is best for your project.

We offer professional mixing and mastering, and provide a range of design and promotional services, including photography, video, CD artwork, and graphic design.

We cater for HD video presentations, ranging from YouTube footage to full-length DVD and documentary.

With piano recording a specialism, we accommodate a spectrum of artists: classical and jazz pianists, film composers, songwriters, and ensembles. It's your record.
