At our specialist studio in Sheffield we offer you the opportunity to record on a stunning Bösendorfer Imperial 290 concert grand piano - their flagship model with its 9 extra sub-bass notes. Uniquely, our Bösendorfer has been fitted with the Phoenix system pioneered by leading British piano engineer Richard Dain. This provides unparalleled sustain and clarity in the instrument's upper registers, whilst the bass has the famous Bösendorfer warmth and power sought after by discerning artists the world over.

When recording here, you will be working in a friendly, constructive environment with producer, engineer, composer and classically trained pianist James Bacon, who will collaborate openly and positively to achieve your creative aims. Piano - and piano recording - is our passion.

The idea that "one size fits all" is the exact opposite of how we approach recording. Each session is tailored to what is best for your recording, not what is most convenient for us. No two pianists have the same requirements and we respect this.

We welcome professional and amateur pianists and composers alike.
